Luckily, we don’t have to choose Get Recipe. We don’t know which peppermint mocha component we love more: the rich, chocolatey flavor from the cocoa powder or the refreshing finish of peppermint extract. I never have a problem finding them at Walmart or Target in the baking aisle or in the seasonal foods section. This inexpensive peppermint mocha creamer from A Latte Food is one of our favorites. And you won't break your teeth eating them. They are white chocolate peppermint candy bits, and they are DELICIOUS. So I almost always default to Andes Peppermint Bits anytime I'm making a recipe that needs “candy cane” pieces. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather not break my teeth whilst enjoying my dessert. Okay, so here's something really important to know about this cake!! I'm not using actual candy cane peppermint bits here.
